I've received plenty of good feedback on the diff function mentioned in my earlier blog. Thanks for sending your comments. The general consensus is that diff would make a useful built-in function (and so would merge.)

So, once we get a few of these committed parts of REBOL out the door, we'll get diff and merge implemented. In the meantime, if you come across a good, small, and freely licensed implementation of diff that you think might work, please tell me. I know they are floating around out there on the net. Hopefully we can find one that meets our requirements.
