REBOL Upgrade Function Returns
Do you ever wish to have a quick way to download the latest version of REBOL? I find that I often want to grab the newest REBOL when I'm working on scripts on remote servers (especially with features like the CALL command built into REBOL/Core). It turns out that REBOL has a function that does just that. Just type upgrade at the REBOL console prompt. Unfortunately, over the last few years, the server database used by that script has not been kept up-to-date. Well, we're changing that, starting today. As the new 2.6.2 (Core) and 1.3.2 (View) versions get released, we are updating the releases.html file that supports the upgrade command. In addition, we will be using a new archive naming convention that includes the version number and platform -- so you don't have to worry about accidentally overwriting your older versions of REBOL, should you still need them. If you have any problem using upgrade, please let us know at REBOL Feedback.
